GLENVIEW, IL, July 9, 2018 - The Steel Tube Institute will host a webinar on "Connection Design Software for Hollow Structural Sections (HSS)" on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. CDT. The webinar will last for one hour and 1 AIA-accredited PDH is available per registration.

After attending the webinar, participants will be able to:

• Discern which software packages design HSS connections and which connections are designed.
• Understand more about RISA Connection, Qnect, SkyCiv, SDS/2, Limcon, Descon, TEDDS, Enercal, Fastrak Connection, and HSS Connex Online as they pertain to HSS connections.
• Decide what limitations each software has and any additional checks that need to be made outside the program.
• Describe SkyCiv, an STI partner and new HSS connection design software.

A 15-minute Q&A session will be held with STI structural engineers at the conclusion of the webinar.
