WASHINGTON, D.C., May 18, 2018 – The Steel Market Development Institute (SMDI), a business unit of the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), today welcomed Algoma as a member of SMDI. Algoma joins current member companies AK Steel, ArcelorMittal, Nucor Corporation and SSAB Americas.  Algoma is also a member of AISI.
